So I spawn on this army base located near Verdant Meadows airport and I run for one of the two planes that are usually located there, only this time there was one. This dude GHQST ran for the plane as well but I got to it first and locked it, because I knew he'd try to steal it. Which he did, several times. I just sat there and waited. Finally, he's like "Either unlock it or take off". I didn't do either, and we went back and forth for about half a minute before he threatened to kill me if I didn't unlock it. Which was stupid. Unfortunately, I lost the screenshot of him threatening to kill me, but it doesn't matter, he didn't actually kill me so I can't complain there.
He placed a hit on me for no reason, so I got mad and placed one back. Then I got killed for the hit, got pissed, and started arguing with him. I'm not going to go over the whole argument, only that I did get pissed and start name calling because he wouldn't quit placing hits. He placed a total of four hits, although at one point during the argument he told me five. I don't know if harassment is a valid reason for a hit, but if it is, then yeah, I deserved two of those hits. But the first two were completely unprovoked. He just wanted my plane.
And the stupidest thing is that, even when another plane spawned, he kept going with the argument. Note that the plane incident happened twice, and the second time, he did go for the second plane, but kept arguing with me.
Now that I've told you that, I want to let you know that that isn't my problem. I did get mad, but it's just a game, I'm over it now. What REALLY got me was that there was an admin online this whole time, standing by, actively playing the game... Mihai, I think, who didn't do anything while this dude was harassing me. At one point GHQST claimed that he was friendly with the admins and that they would just tell me to quit whining, but from what I've seen, admins don't do that to anyone unless they're actually whining.
I did rant about it for a while. But my reasons were valid. This dude placed multiple random hits on me and simply would NOT leave me alone for anything. I wasn't just whining to whine. But Mihai didn't even tell us to stop arguing or ask what's going on or anything... just sat back and did nothing. In short, this dude GHQST was allowed to sit there and harass me so bad that I finally just said screw it and logged off. I'm used to dealing with noobs... hell, I'm DMed at least four times per login session, no exaggeration, but this was something else.
The only proof I have of GHQST's harassment is his statement that he's going to place multiple hits on me. I'm pretty sure that's frowned on, right? It's all I have. But it doesn't matter, I think I'm sick of this game now, especially if there is an admin in the game who's going to let someone harass you like that. It's people like GHQST that just ruin an online game for someone. For me it's just fun, for him, it's a chance to screw up someone else's day by pissing them off repeatedly.
Note that I share the blame for part of this incident, I'm not pleading total innocence (I got pissed and argued back, after all), but he started the whole thing for absolutely no reason, and ended it by placing multiple hits and actually making me not want to play the game because his harassment was allowed by an active admin. Perhaps the admin saw things differently, but still... he DOES carry some of the blame and the admin should've taken some sort of action. Maybe muted both of us or something instead of encouraging GHQST's behavior with his/her silence.
I was ID 221 at the time. I was taking screenshots the entire time, but apparently the game didn't save them like it said it did, so I only got this one.
